Service Fees Policy

SERVICE FEES FOR VENDORS
Vendors acknowledge and agree that Design League charges a service fee ("Service Fee") for the use of the Site Services. The Service Fee is a percentage of the total fee paid by the Client to the vendor for a successful event client booking, ranging from three to ten percent (3-20%), depending on various factors determined by Design League. This percentage will be clearly communicated to the vendor in the initial outreach requesting the proposal for the Client.
The Service Fee is paid solely by the Vendor. When a Client submits payment for a service ("Job"), or when funds related to a service are otherwise released to the Vendor, Design League will automatically deduct the applicable Service Fee before disbursing the remaining balance to the Vendor's account. By using the Site Services, the Vendor hereby irrevocably authorizes and instructs Design League to deduct the Service Fee from any payments received and remit the fee directly to Design League.
If a Vendor chooses to withdraw funds in a currency other than U.S. dollars, the Vendor acknowledges that a foreign currency conversion charge may apply. The conversion rate used may differ from the exchange rates available at the time of payment, and Vendors may obtain a better rate through their bank or financial institution.
All Service Fees are final, non-refundable, and apply regardless of the outcome of the Job. Design League reserves the right to modify the Service Fee percentage at its discretion with prior notice to Vendors.
SERVICE FEES FOR USERS
Users may access and use the Site Services through either a free account or a paid subscription plan. The fees associated with each plan are as follows:
Free Plan
- Users may create an account and browse available Vendors at no cost.
- Users on the free plan are responsible for paying Vendors directly for any booked services but do not receive premium platform support or additional coordination services.
Full Service Online Planning with Planner Concierge
- Users may opt for a Basic Paid Plan, which provides enhanced platform access, customer support, and additional features designed to facilitate vendor booking and event planning.
- The fee for the Basic Paid Plan is charged as a one-time payment per event and is non-refundable.
- Pricing details for this plan are available on the Platform.
Premium Paid Plan (with On-Site Coordinator)
- Users may choose the Premium Paid Plan, which includes all features of the Basic Paid Plan along with an on-site, day-of coordinator to assist with event execution.
- The fee for the Premium Paid Plan is charged as a one-time payment per event.
- Additional terms and conditions specific to on-site coordination services apply, and Users will be required to agree to those terms separately.
Payment Terms
- Users authorize Design League to charge the applicable fees to their selected payment method at the time of purchase and on a recurring basis if applicable, pursuant to the payment terms of service.
- All payments are final and non-refundable, except as required by law or as expressly stated in Design League's refund policy.
- Design League reserves the right to modify the pricing, features, or availability of its subscription plans at its sole discretion. Any changes to pricing will be communicated to Users in advance.
